Support - NBA Stock Exchange |
How do I play and win the NBA Stock Exchange (NBASE) fantasy basketball gameIt all starts by registering for free and then creating a team. Next, beginning on October 1st, you fill your starting team on the Trading Floor with a budget of 180 NBASE dollars. Beginning October 21st, the market opens on the NBASE Trading Floor. In this real-time marketplace, open to every NBA Stock Exchange manager, player prices change based on supply and demand. Your first step may be to fill any remaining positions on your team. Remember the five bench spots are provided for players you may not necessarily start but may provide value later in the season. You can choose to have no bench players, the decision and the strategy is completely up to you. As with any fantasy Basketball format, you win by assembling the best lineup to earn you the most points for any given day. Having the most money will not guarantee you the win. Picking the right players in the right matchups is still the best way to rack up the points. With the NBA Stock Exchange, you have complete control over who is on your roster. At the end of the season, we're going to reward the managers with the top global rankings (see Prizes FAQ). Throughout the season, there will also be an assortment of monthly prizes based on your team's performances during specific weeks. What if I want to play in a league with just my friends? That's what makes the NBA Stock Exchange so great! You create one single team that is automatically entered into the Global rankings and eligible for the prizes. And you also have the freedom to place this team in a number of other leagues. You can create private leagues for you and your friends or you can join public leagues to compete against other managers with similar interests. Can I trade a player to my friend? That's what makes NBASE so great. You create one single team that is automatically entered into the Global League and eligible for the prizes. But you also have the freedom to place this team in a variety of leagues. You can create private leagues for you and your friends or you can join public leagues to compete against other managers with similar interests. Can I trade a player to my friend? No. All player movement must go through the trading floor. That's the beauty of NBA Stock Exchange - you don't need to find someone to haggle over players. With the trading floor you can sell any player you want virtually whenever you want and buy any player that you can afford. Can another manager in one of my leagues own the same player as me?Certainly. In fact, this will probably be the case as a single player is available once for roughly every twelve NBA Stock Exchange managers. This means that a player like Lebron James could be on multiple teams in your private league while on none in others. This prevents one team from dominating an individual league based on one super star player. Now every manager has the same chance to benefit from traditional fantasy studs like Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett. Why is the league a points-based scoring system rather than rotisserie or head-to-head?It allows for a more accurate comparison of managing skill. It's a measure of your ability to manage a team over an entire season based on real-life match-ups, player streaks and injuries. Plus, it's easier to meet new people and compare your teams on a statistically level playing field.
